It seems to me that it a productive thing to focus on would be to document if Patrick Craguns Father, Caleb Cragun was truly part of the Plantation Movement. Both England and Scotland citizens moved to Ireland in the Plantation Movement. If we can find a record of Caleb we can possibley determine if he came from England or Scotland to Ireland.
Question then: Is there a list of who were in the plantation movement?
It does not appear that Dublin was a part of the plantation movement. This might dispute he was in the movement of that he was really from Dublin when Patrick Cragun ran away to America.
