Yesterday I spent several hours looking for grandfather Patrick in Virginia. No results. In looking back in new family search where data suggests he had children in Virginia it has become my assumption they were born in Indiana or not his children.
For that reason I am removing articles I have published here referring to Patrick living in Virginia. I am also going to edit the references in new family search.
Are you related to Patrick Cragun, the boy who left Ireland in the mid 1700's? The one who is said to have been a part of the Boston Tea Party? If so, this blog's for you. I am going to make it easy for us to work together on solving the many puzzles unknown about Patrick and his many descendants. In early August I will be posting a research plan which can guide us to be effective, even more effective together. I believe once I have that document posted you will see what I mean.

After doing further research on the plantation movement, I find that those that came to the plantation movement from London, and eventually immigrated to America, likely did as friends and former residents of Ulster, did keep to gether, moving to Virginia.
